And an orchestra concert is no exception! Part of going to middle school is having the opportunity to be in orchestra! That is one thing I LOVE about living here is the chance to play in orchestra in school. Cailee is playing the violin this year and loving it! Her first concert (Sept. 23rd) they "plucked" their strings instead of playing with their bows but it was so fun to hear. They had the concert with all the orchestras going up through the High School. It was so neat and quiet amazing to hear how each grade level improved over the last! Most of the students do not take outside lessons so it was so great to see where Cailee can be down the road if she continues to take orchestra in school! Their teacher teaches clear up through the High School and she is absolutely an amazing teacher. Mrs. Lavadie is so talented and I'm impressed with how well she does with not only the Middle School but clear up through the High School. I'm glad we had the chance to hear all the grade levels and I'm so glad Cailee got the chance to see where she could be in just a year or a few years down the road! I know it sure helped her to decide to continue on playing more than just this year! I know she could change her mind, but I secretly hope she doesn't! I love listening to her play!
Cailee met a cute new friend this year in orchestra! Her name is Sydney and she's such a sweetie! She plays the violin like Cailee! Their friend Brooklyn plays in orchestra also, playing the cello! It's so fun to see these cute girls growing up! Although I'm okay if they don't grow up too fast!
