We have had a great "family time" summer! We spent two fabulous weeks in Wyoming and had the best time! With Jamie living just down the street from Grandma and Grandpa's house, we got to have tons of cousin time! The weather was what I would call, very temper mental...haha! The days went from the sun shining to a down pour within minutes. It was crazy! I have to say though that we enjoyed the cooler Wyoming weather! It was a wonderful reprieve from the Colorado heat! During the times that the sun was out, all the kids enjoyed jumping on Grandma and Grandpa's trampoline! We haven't ever had one to our children's dismay. They packed in plenty of jump time while at Grandma's!
Ethan loves to jump but not as much with the big kids. He loves his Daddy and would come up to Blake and say, "Daddy, jump me!" It made me laugh when I looked out the window to watch. He always had a smile on his face and a death grip around his neck! I'm not sure how Blake was able to breath half the time! He was a good sport and bounced the older kids frequently too!
Abby was our only trampoline casualty. She flew off and landed on her arm hurting her wrist. It happened on a Thursday and by Sunday evening was still hurting her. We were afraid she broke it so we took her to the ER and determined she sprained it pretty good...OUCH! I'm so grateful it wasn't broken!
I think the trampoline may be leaving Grandma and Grandpa's yard after the spill. I have a feeling the next time we come there may be some sad kids. I'm hoping though, that when we come for Christmas there will be snow on the ground!! Who needs a trampoline when there is snow!
So much laughter came from these sweet kiddos while jumping! So when life hands you a trampoline...JUMP!!
