The evening after we went to the parade, Rachel, Todd and their boys came over for a BBQ and Smores!! They happened to be in Basin helping out with a yard sale Todd's family was having. We stopped by right after the parade and the kiddos got to go play at the park with their cousins for a little bit. It was great having the kids get to play with their cousins. They had a great time and were happy with the time we got to spend with them! That night after we all ate dinner, we got to enjoy roasting marshmallows and having smores. Blake's parents have this way of finding odd things...like square marshmallows! They were perfect for making smores. They didn't like to stay on the roasting stick very well, but they were the perfect size for putting on a cracker and chocolate square! By all the messy fingers and faces, I'm concluding that smores were a huge success! So when life hands you marshmallows...make smores!
