The second Monday we were in Wyoming, my Mom planned a Picnic in the park with family!! My Grandparents, Sister and family, Brother and family and my sweet cousin Jennifer and her family all came to have a fun get together. We don't get to see each other very often so I enjoy the times we do! We ate some fabulous food and had a great time visiting! The kids had a wonderful time playing and climbing at the play ground while I was chatting with my cousin! Imagine that! I do have the gift of gab! Thanks to my hubby for watching after kids and taking pictures! My nephew Aidan had a baseball game at the same time, so after eating, some of the adults went to watch!
It started to sprinkle for maybe thirty seconds before a nice downpour stopped all playing activity! The kids came running under the pavilion and we stayed there while Blake ran and got the car closer! We snatched up my sister's girlies and took a carload of kids back to my parents house! It was so crazy how much rain came down in such a short amount of time! I have to say though, I LOVE the smell of rain! There is just something about the fresh smell. My ideal rain day would be curled up on my porch with a blanket and a good book listening to the rain falling! I hope there is rain in heaven from time to time. I think I would miss the sound and fresh smell!
