The last Friday we were in Wyoming we got to all go have a fun day at the Cody Recreation Center Pool! To make it even better, they were having a FREE DAY!! Once every other month they have a free day. Most of the time it is at the beginning of the month, but they were celebrating something so they had it that day! We were so lucky! The kids had a BLAST!! It was a great way to end swimming lessons!! My kids are all water babies and I'm pretty sure from the looks of it, so are Jamie's. They would live in the water and outside if I would let them!
The Cody pool is so neat. They have a bigger slide for the older kids and a small fishy, as Ethan called it, slide for the itty bittys! They have a rock wall (no pictures...so sad) that drops into the deeper pool and of course a diving board that the kids had fun jumping off of! They also have a fun water fall feature. It was great to Madie and Ashlee showing all the skills they learned from swim lessons! They did so good.
I loved that the pool with the water features was shallow enough for Madie and Ashlee to touch, even in the deepest end. It made it so they could play anywhere in it! In fact, all the kids spent a good portion of their time there playing with balls, noodles and using their new swimming skills!
Ethan had a blast with his Daddy and LOVED the fishy slide! Madie spent a lot of time showing me how she can go under the water and telling me to take a picture of her! I can with the most confidence say we had a fantastic time!
