Living Planet Aquarium

One of our fun stops came way of The Living Planet Aquarium!  We bought a year family pass during spring break while they had their grand re-opening after moving locations.  We didn't get to see all the exhibits so we decided that we would go back another time and this presented the perfect occasion to go!  We loaded up kids and snacks and headed on our way.  We all enjoyed seeing the many wonders and creatures that our Heavenly Father has created.  From the GINORMOUS fish from the amazon (and I mean Ginormous...some of the fish were bigger than every one of the kids) to our favorite, the amazing Penguins!

We were all mesmerized by them.  They put on quiet a show while we were there and we felt lucky to get to witness it.  I think I could have watched them all day.  There is something soothing about the way they glide through the water.  All the kids just sat watching...okay so did us adults!

The kids had fun touching the sting ray and a smaller shark.  I don't remember the name of the shark but it was very tame.  The tank was a little bit harder for Madie and Meg to reach there hands in and I thought we might have a head diver a time or two!  Thankfully they both came through without taking the plunge (there were two Mom's holding on tightly for sure)!

The kids had such a great time having their friends go through with them.  They played on the fun whales and of course had to pull off a few fun poses for the camera!  We all enjoyed watching the amazing land and sea creatures.  We all had such a great time renewing our wonderful friendships with the Nelson family and look forward to many more years visiting them!  Thank you Nelson family for such a fun and delightful trip!
